Jessica’s Story — International
This page shares personal experiences and challenges. If you are struggling, please reach out to the resources listed below.

G’day, I’m Jessica. I’m a transgender woman, currently living in the United States, and I’m 33 years old.

I enjoy reading, cycling, and photography—especially capturing the coast, the beach, the ocean, and the bush. I love catching the light just right to take a cracking photo. Nature keeps me grounded and brings me joy.

Being transgender does not conflict with my faith. I have my own beliefs, I read scripture, and I say my prayers in private. Everyone’s journey is different, and we each walk our own path.

Growing up, I faced challenges related to my identity. I experienced environments and pressures that were harmful, but I was able to find supportive communities and guidance that helped me through difficult times.

There were periods when life felt overwhelming. With the right help, I was able to navigate these challenges safely and build a fulfilling life. I share my story to encourage others to seek support when they need it.

Today, I am thriving and living authentically. My goal is to help others understand the importance of safe, affirming spaces and the value of support networks.
